Rescue Diver Course
2/3 days. The Rescue Diver course is an intensive and highly educational training for divers. Participants will learn the skills needed to manage diving accidents, prevent underwater mishaps, and assist fellow divers in distress. Becoming a Rescue Diver will train you to be a reliable dive buddy and a responsible diver. The course begins with home study through PADI E-learning, which includes theoretical instruction, videos, and tests. The two days of training include hands-on rescue practice in both confined water and open sea environments. While the training requires effort, it fosters confidence and builds resilience, ultimately shaping you into a competent and capable diver. This is likely the course where you will learn the most about diving and safety.
Course Options:
1/ If you already have a recent EFR or first aid certification, you can start the 2-day Rescue course. First, you'll complete the E-learning at your own pace. Once at our shop, you will begin training by practicing all the rescue skills and scenarios. The first day will be confined water training, and the second day will be in open water. Depending on the experience of the divers, this may be one pool day and one boat day, or two days on the boat.
2/ If you do not have a recent EFR certification, we will offer you EFR (Emergency First Response) training along with the Rescue course. You will first study both courses through E-learning in your free time. Once here, we will have a theoretical day to review EFR skills and rescue techniques, followed by 2 days of rescue training in confined water and open water.
3/ If you're looking for a more challenging rescue training, we offer the standard EFR and Rescue course mentioned above, but with an extra training day. The first day will be for EFR skills training and a review of rescue theory, the second day will focus on rescue skills in the pool, and then, on the next two days, we will practice open water rescue techniques during boat days.
2 days. If you already have a recent first aid or CPR certification, you can start the Rescue course. The Rescue course E-learning can be completed before starting the course, and the training will last for 2 days.
