Rescue Diver Course

In the Rescue Diver course you will learn the rescue manoeuvres of a diver, as well as gain confidence and safety underwater.

- The EFR (Emergency First Response): 1 day course where the student will learn about first aid and CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation).

- 10 rescue exercises:

•  Tired diver

•  Panicked diver

•  Response from the shore, boat or dock (conscious diver)

•  Diver in trouble underwater

•  Missing diver

•  Bringing an unconscious diver to the surface

•  Unconscious diver at the surface

•  Getting out of the water with an unconscious diver

•  First aid related to pressure and oxygen administration

•  Response from the shore, boat or dock (unconscious diver)

- 2 rescue drills:

•  Unconscious diver underwater

•  Unconscious diver on the surface

Prerequisites:

• Previous experience: Adventure Diver certification (have completed at least 2 adventure dives of the Advanced Open Water)

• Minimum age: 12 years old
