PADI® Rescue Diver

When you started learning to dive in the PADI Open Water Diver course, you primarily focused on yourself and mastered techniques and knowledge to take care of yourself underwater. In the Advanced Open Water Diver programme, your focus broadened to include the environment in different situations.

In the Rescue Diver course you're about to move to the next level, where your focus will expand even further to include other divers as well. The PADI Rescue Diver programme prepares you to help prevent, and if necessary, handle dive emergencies - minor and major - with different techniques. What you're about to learn will increase your technique and confidence as a diver, and prepare you for advancement to the PADI Master Scuba Diver and PADI Divemaster levels. Most certified PADI Rescue Divers remember their rescue training as one of the most demanding - sometimes gruelling - and therefore most rewarding programmes they've done. The subject matter is serious, but the training is fun.
