PADI Discover Scuba Diving
Also known as a mini course, the PADI Discovery course is the quickest and easiest way to try scuba diving in the Tayrona Park and Santa Marta. It's the perfect option if you don't have much time while visiting Santa Marta as it's only a 1/2 day session. It is not uncommon for a student to start with a Discovery course and decide to continue diving by taking the PADI Open Water Certification course.
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BREATHE UNDERWATER?
You want to experience scuba diving but are not looking for a certification Discovery scuba diving is ideal for you.
It's a quick and easy introduction to exploring the underwater world. You'll be accompanied by a professional instructor in and out of the water.
You don't need any previous experience for this course, you just need to be comfortable in the water.
This programme introduces people to scuba diving in a relaxed manner.
The maximum depth set for this course is 12 metres.
The dives take place in the Tayrona National Park.
