Master Liveaboards Blue Horizon
Wrecks and Reefs of the Northern Red Sea · Blue Horizon
Description
The Wrecks and Reefs route in the northern Red Sea near Hurghada offers a balance of famous wrecks and vibrant reef dives. The itinerary typically includes the SS Thistlegorm, a British cargo ship sunk in 1941, and the four wrecks of Abu Nuhas - Ghiannis D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K, and Kimon M - along with Ras Mohamed Marine Park and its Shark and Yolanda reefs. The journey is also complemented by shallow and densely populated reefs such as Gota Abu Ramada, known as 'The Aquarium', Ras Disha, and Sha'ab El Erg - famous for its dolphins - as well as Siyul Kebir Island, a top spot for macro photography. With short navigations and a variety of sites, this route is accessible for divers of different levels, though the Thistlegorm requires a minimum level of experience.
