Description
The Tiran Strait and North route connects Egypt's northern classic wrecks with drift diving at the four reefs of the Tiran Strait. Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon form the pinnacle of an underwater bridge known for its coral diversity and currents, with jacks, turtles, eagle rays, and sharks among its typical fauna; the wrecks of Lara and Louilla are also visible at Jackson and Gordon. The itinerary usually includes the SS Thistlegorm, the wrecks of Abu Nuhas, and the Marine Park of Ras Mohamed, featuring its Shark and Yolanda reefs. It is complemented by vibrant reefs like Gota Abu Ramada - 'The Aquarium' - Sha'ab El Erg, famous for its dolphins, and Siyul Kebir island, ideal for macro life. It's a varied route that alternates drift, wall, and wreck diving.
Itinerary
Departure Day — Check-In
Check-in takes place at 6:00 PM at the Marriott Resort Marina in Hurghada. After dinner, welcome and safety meetings are held, and equipment is prepared for diving the next day.
