Description
This seven-night itinerary offers a journey from the central atolls to the southern ones, with a strong focus on channels and shark diving. The route spans North and South Malé, Vaavu, Meemu, Thaa, Laamu, and Gaafu Alifu, connecting some of the archipelago's most renowned kandus with intense drifts, cleaning stations, and vibrant reefs.
Throughout the trip, encounters with gray sharks, white-tip sharks, eagle rays, and large schools of jacks and tuna are common, in addition to notable wildlife hotspots like the drift in North Malé, where divers settle on the sand to watch the passage of large predators. Further south, the channels of Laamu and Gaafu Alifu feature pelagic action and current.
With sixteen dives over six days of diving, this is a dynamic and fast-paced cruise designed for divers drawn to the currents and the best channels in the Maldives.
Itinerary
Embarkation
Arrival in Malé and transfer to the Seafari Explorer 2, the starting point of this itinerary. After a warm welcome and settling into the cabins, the crew will conduct a safety briefing. Depending on the arrival time and conditions, a preliminary check dive may take place before embarking on the journey south.

If you cancel more than 30 days prior to the start of the trip: a penalty of 70% of the total amount will apply, which is non-refundable. If you cancel 30 days or less before the start of the trip: 100% of the amount will be non-refundable.
