Description

Liveaboard
Sharks

This route descends to the southernmost tip of the Egyptian Red Sea to explore remote and pristine reefs, featuring staggering walls, colorful plateaus, and abundant marine life.

Daedalus, an isolated gem located midway between Cairo and Marsa Alam, showcases four distinct sides: walls plunging to depths of 100 meters with frequent sightings of hammerhead, oceanic, and whale sharks to the north, mantas and eagle rays to the south, a technical east face with excellent visibility, and a drift zone to the west, where schools of tuna and jacks can be found.

Rocky, located near the Sudanese border, features a northern face with walls exceeding 100 meters, hosting schools of hammerheads, silkies, and oceanics, alongside a southern slope adorned with majestic gorgonians frequented by mantas. Zabargad, a semi-volcanic island famous for its olivine, offers dives between 5 and 40 meters with grey reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, and turtles.

The return journey allows divers to explore the Fury Shoal reefs before concluding at the legendary Elphinstone.
