Master Liveaboards Maldives

The route of the Central and Southern Atolls aboard the Maldives Master covers a ten-day voyage from Malé to Kooddoo—or vice versa—crossing seven atolls with very distinct diving profiles. The initial days combine the channels and thilas of South Malé and Vaavu, where encounters with gray reef sharks, eagle rays, and manta cleaning stations are common. As the boat progresses southward, the diving experience shifts: Meemu and Thaa offer current-rich channels with pelagic action and manta ray territories; Laamu adds steep drop-off walls and abundant marine life in its kandus. The final stretch, encompassing Huvadhoo and Fuvahmulah, presents the most demanding diving of the itinerary: strong and unpredictable currents, negative descents, and frequent encounters with silver-tip sharks, reef gray sharks, nocturnal whale sharks by the boat, and, in Fuvahmulah, tiger sharks and oceanic mantas in open waters.
