Master Liveaboards Blue Melody
Red Sea Wrecks – Wrecks of the Red Sea Aboard the Blue Melody (7 Nights)
Description
The Red Sea Wrecks safari takes you through the wrecks located in the northern part of the Egyptian Red Sea, one of the world's most renowned concentrations of sunken ships. The diving occurs over steel structures inhabited by schools of fish, where marine life has colonized hulls, holds, and decks, transforming them into artificial reefs. The pace mimics life on board: several daily dives, including some at night, interspersed with periods of rest on the boat.
The highlight is theThistlegorm, a British cargo ship sunk in 1941 that still holds vehicles and ammunition from World War II, but the route connects other famous wrecks in areas such as Abu Nuhas and the Gubal Islands. This trip is intended for experienced divers who are comfortable with occasional currents and depth, in exchange for diving through history beneath the waves, with generally good visibility and warm waters. The combination of wrecks, associated marine life, and navigation between points defines the character of the journey.
