Description
This itinerary expands the classic diving experience in the Visayas to the southern part of Leyte and the walls of Bohol, while also offering the opportunity to swim with whale sharks. In Sogod Bay, the Napantao Sanctuary and Padre Burgos Pier alternate between coral-covered walls and sandy bottoms teeming with macro life, where frogfish, seahorses, and ghost pipefish appear seasonally. Additionally, and always via snorkeling, it is possible to encounter whale sharks, managed by the local community.
The route continues along the walls of Anda in Bohol and the reefs of Cabilao before reaching Malapascua, a world reference for observing the thresher shark. The result is a varied journey that combines large marine animals, macro photography, and vibrant reefs, suitable for experienced divers who appreciate a diverse and ever-changing environment.
