Description
This short route focuses on the heart of the Visayas, one of the regions with the highest marine biodiversity on the planet. The journey combines the famous sardine run in Moalboal, where the shimmering schools swirl along the coast, with the vertical walls of Pescador Island and the volcanic bottoms of Dauin, where muck diving reveals octopuses, cuttlefish, frogfish, and a continuous succession of macro life.
The protected reefs of Apo, Cabilao, and Balicasag offer exhilarating currents, coral gardens, and frequent encounters with turtles and reef sharks. With up to four dives daily, the itinerary alternates between reef, wall, current, and macro diving over just a few days of cruising: an ideal choice for experienced divers who have less time but seek the essence of diving in the Philippines while exploring the Visayas.
