Description
The Northern Red Sea and Brothers route combines the most famous wrecks of northern Egypt with ocean diving at the Brothers Islands. The itinerary typically includes the SS Thistlegorm, a British cargo ship sunk in 1941, and the four wrecks of Abu Nuhas, located over a reef that has claimed numerous vessels. At Brothers, two islands approximately 140 km off the coast, the walls and plateau of Big Brother are home to fan corals, soft corals, and the vertical wrecks of the Numidia and the Aida, with seasonal sightings of hammerhead, fox, gray reef, and oceanic white-tip sharks. The journey is completed with vibrant reefs such as Ras Mohammed, Sha'ab El Erg - known for its dolphins - and the Gubal Islands. It is a demanding trip designed for experienced divers seeking both historical wrecks and large pelagics in a single expedition.
Itinerary
Departure Day — Embarkation
Embarkation takes place at 6:00 PM at the departure port (Marriott Resort Marina in Hurghada or Port Ghalib Marina, depending on the date and reservation confirmation). After dinner, the welcome and safety meetings are held, and the equipment is prepared to begin diving the following day.
