Itinerary
Arrival in Maafushi
The journey begins in Spain, typically with a flight to Doha, Abu Dhabi, or Istanbul, followed by a connection to a flight to Malé, the capital of the Maldives. Upon arrival in Malé, there will be staff members waiting for you with a sign displaying the hotel name, usually "Arena Hotels Maafushi." They will escort you to the transfer point for the approximately 40-minute boat ride to Maafushi. If you arrive before 7:00 a.m., you will have time to grab a coffee, get an Ooredoo SIM card, and catch the first transfer at 7:30 a.m.
Sinai Dive Club Maldives is a Maafushi-based center that combines agile logistics, close-knit guides, and careful operations to take you safely and punctually to the atoll's classics. They schedule daily double-tank dives and, depending on conditions, a third dive or night dive, with clear briefings, small groups, and personalized attention to make the most of every minute underwater. Their location allows quick access to thilas and reference channels, optimizing boat times and seeking the best current windows for encounters with gray reef sharks, eagle rays, and large schools of fish.
