Komodo stands out as a prime diving spot worldwide. The region is home to vast coral gardens, whose expanse sometimes eclipses that of a soccer field. This diversity of underwater flora is easily accessible, with dives of moderate depth, around 15 - 20 meters. Diving in Komodo is distinguished by its variety: if you're not exploring a secluded coral, you're likely to be observing turtles, clownfish coexisting with colorful anemones, mantas, sharks, groupers, and cuttlefish. Furthermore, the smaller marine life presents a fascinating diversity, with species like nudibranchs, hermit crabs, eels, or mantis shrimps. The calm marine surface contributes to a relaxing and complete experience. Komodo is defined by its excellent visibility and biodiversity, and by the thrill of drift dives facilitated by its powerful currents. All of this is experienced aboard the Blue Lotus, a brand-new luxury vessel.
Itinerary
On the way to Komodo: one way
We depart from Spain approximately 72 hours before the start of the diving trip, heading to Denpasar (Bali). From there, we take the 5:00 pm flight from the domestic terminal (right in front of the international terminal) to arrive at Komodo around 6:30 pm. The hotel staff will pick you up upon your arrival. Komodo Airport is small and quite straightforward.
###The hotel will be Katamaran Hotel & Resort, or similar (depending on availability). This is a five-star hotel where you can relax comfortably for this night and the following one, having a day to rest and recharge your batteries before enjoying the liveaboard trip.
