Heart of the Maldives explores the central atolls that have long captivated divers: North Malé, Rasdhoo, Ari, Vaavu, and South Malé. It is the most versatile route in the archipelago, featuring shark dives, coral gardens, soft coral caves, life-filled pinnacles, and manta cleaning stations.
South Ari stands out for its year-round whale shark sightings, one of the most sought-after encounters in the Maldives. Night dives add excitement, with frequent appearances of sharks and mantas. On ten-night trips, weather permitting, it is possible to reach Baa and its Hanifaru lagoon between May and October.
The pace combines accessible reef diving with more dynamic channel dives, making it suitable for a wide range of diving profiles.
Itinerary
Departure Day — Arrival in Malé and Boarding
Arrival at Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. This route does not require a domestic flight. Reception and assistance from the operator, followed by a transfer to the boat, with boarding expected at 4:00 PM. Check-in to the cabin, safety briefing, and introduction of the crew. First night on board.
