This week-long life-on-board itinerary explores the southern Red Sea in Egypt, combining two of its most renowned environments: Daedalus Reef and the extensive St John's reef system. Daedalus is an isolated reef in the open sea, famous for its vertical walls, currents, and the schools of scalloped hammerhead sharks that gather in the blue during summer. St John's, located at the southernmost tip of the country, features a dense network of reefs, pinnacles, and coral gardens interspersed with tunnels, caves, and vertical drops, home to some of the most vibrant marine life and soft corals in the Red Sea. The itinerary alternates between ocean diving with large fauna and the leisurely exploration of reefs, incorporating locations such as Fury Shoals and Elphinstone depending on conditions. It is designed for experienced divers seeking encounters with pelagics and less crowded reefs, where each day presents a unique profile.
