Description
This liveaboard itinerary spans a week, exploring the three most remote offshore reefs in the southern Red Sea of Egypt: Brothers, Daedalus, and Elphinstone. Renowned as the ultimate route for diving with large pelagics, these sites are only accessible by liveaboard. They feature vertical walls exceeding 60 meters, historical wrecks adorned with soft corals, and currents that regularly attract pelagic wildlife. The journey alternates between wall dives, wreck dives, and open water diving, ensuring that each day offers a unique experience. Notable wrecks at Brothers include the Numidia and the Aida, along with a constant presence of oceanic whitetip sharks; Daedalus is one of the most reliable spots in the Red Sea for encountering schools of hammerhead sharks during the summer; and Elphinstone rounds off the circuit with its autumn congregation of oceanics. Currents can be intense, and many dives occur in open waters, so previous experience is recommended to fully enjoy the destination. The itinerary is flexible, adjustable to sea conditions and the discretion of the cruise, always aiming for the best sightings.
Itinerary
Arrival in Hurghada and hotel night
Flight to Hurghada (HRG), with direct connections from Europe and daily flights from Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to the Marriott Hotel in Hurghada, where guests will spend their first night to rest after the journey.
The next day, the Master Liveaboards team will pick up passengers in the hotel lobby at 6:00 PM for the transfer to the port and boarding. Onboard, a safety briefing will be conducted, the crew will be introduced, cabins will be assigned, and a general orientation of the ship will take place before it sets sail that night to the first diving spots.
