Program

Diving conditions in Myanmar can be challenging but rewarding. Due to its isolated and exposed location, there can be strong currents and reduced visibility caused by an influx of nutrients at certain dive sites, which may make these dives unsuitable for inexperienced divers or those who have not dived in similar conditions before.

Day 1:
Thailand exit formalities are carried out at the immigration office in Ranong, followed by embarkation, lunch, and briefings. This is followed by a short crossing to Kawthung for Myanmar immigration entry formalities, after which the Thailand Master will cruise into the archipelago.

Days 2 – 6:
The Cruise Director will schedule up to 4 dives per day: 3 day dives and, when possible, a sunset or night dive. A typical diving day is organized as follows:

  • Light breakfast, followed by a briefing and Dive 1.

  • Full breakfast, relaxation followed by a briefing and Dive 2.

  • Lunch, relaxation followed by a briefing and Dive 3.

  • Snack.

  • Briefing for Dive 4, if possible.

  • Dinner.

Day 7:
Typically, 2 morning dives are scheduled on the final full day on board, followed by a beach visit and snacks at Horseshoe Island before the vessel returns to Kawthung.

Disembarkation Day:
Following breakfast on board and clearance out of Myanmar, disembarkation is scheduled for between 9:00 and 9:30 am. Afterward, you will visit the immigration office in Ranong to obtain an entry stamp for Thailand before proceeding with your transfer.
