Superpods of Dolphins

Unique trips to witness one of Mother Nature's greatest events. We will follow the superpod of spinner dolphins in Costa Rica, which can number in the tens of thousands, and observe this magnificent gathering that has appeared in numerous wildlife documentaries. This is an opportunity to experience firsthand the scale and power of life in the ocean. In addition to the dolphins, we will look for bait balls and, if we're lucky, have the chance to swim among the yellowfin tuna and mobula rays as they hunt their prey. This is a true adventure.

Coco Island

Travel 300 miles off the coast to Isla del Coco for one of the best big animal diving experiences in the world. Enjoy days of constant encounters with sharks (hammerhead sharks, silky sharks, Galápagos sharks, white tip reef sharks, black tip sharks, tiger sharks, whale sharks, silver tip sharks, and more), dolphins, manta rays, and schools of fish that fill your entire view. Isla del Coco is unparalleled in its purity, and you can experience it in the hands of our expert captain and the Kiki team.

Diving

Come on a short trip aboard the Valencia to some of the local dive sites in the Gulf of Nicoya, or head further offshore on the Kiki to some of Costa Rica's most iconic dive sites such as Cabo Blanco, Isla del Caño, and more.

Coastal Adventures

Enjoy a day (or more) on the Kiki exploring part of Costa Rica's Pacific coast. From Corcovado to Santa Rosa and all the places in between, the Kiki can take you there. You can spend the day surfing, snorkeling, hiking, or simply relaxing on the boat or on the beach. The Kiki can take you to the most pristine places in Costa Rica: beaches where the jungle meets the sea, and the only other visitors to the sand are jaguars and sea turtles.

Custom Charters

Do you have a special need for our boat, our services, or your experience? Let us know, and we will be happy to assist! We have years of experience in tourism, wildlife research, and filmmaking in Costa Rica and around the world, and if you think the Kiki could be of service, we will make it happen!

1. Never hold your breath

Breathe deeply and slowly underwater. In addition to avoiding lung overexpansion issues, you will save air during your dive.

2. Always dive with a buddy

Always dive with a partner and make sure you stay close at all times.

3. Respect your limits

Always dive within the limits of your training. Train yourself before taking on new challenges.

4. Buoyancy

By maintaining good buoyancy control, you will increase your level of control, which will undoubtedly contribute to safer diving.

5. Pre-dive check

Before diving, check with your buddy: BCD, weights, straps, air, and final OK. This way, you can be sure you are ready to enter the water.

6. Keep learning

The more you practice your diving skills, the safer you will feel underwater. In courses like Rescue Diver, you can also learn rescue maneuvers to increase group safety.
