A Discover Scuba Diving experience is your first dive in the ocean, designed for beginners with no prior experience. You’ll receive a basic introduction to scuba diving, practice in shallow water, and then enjoy a guided open-water dive.

If you want to try diving in Tenerife without committing to a full course, then our trial dive, also known as a Discover Scuba Diving experience, is just what you’re looking for.

The trial dive is divided into 3 parts:

Part One: We’ll explain how the equipment works and teach you the basic theory of diving so you can enjoy your experience with total safety.

Part Two: We’ll practice 3 VERY simple exercises. These exercises are designed to help you feel comfortable in the underwater environment and familiarize yourself with the gear.

Part Three: We’ll go on an underwater tour where we’ll observe the local marine life while experimenting with buoyancy control.

You’ll see—it’ll be the best decision of your life to start diving!

And if you’re still unsure about enrolling in the Open Water Diver (OWD) course, the Discover Scuba Diving experience will help you decide. Requirements to Participate

• Be at least 10 years old.

• Complete a medical questionnaire to confirm you are fit to dive.

• Feel comfortable in the water (no need to be an expert swimmer).
