Night Dive Specialty Course

Night diving, everything changes...

Other species never seen during the day, dives full of color, the moon and the stars, did you ever wondered about diving at night? It's amazing. Already in your Advanced Open Water Diver course you will have been able to choose to do a night dive to get a glimpse of this incredible adventure. 

Night dives anywhere in the world are easy, close to shore and at shallow depths, but on many occasions we can plan something different.

It would seem very appealing to dive a wreck at night, or some Caribbean-style dive in the middle of nowhere. That is achieved with training, and this is a good specialty to complete a good diving curriculum and accompany us to those night dives that are planned for the more experienced divers.

Requirements: 

• Open Water Diver
• 18 years old 
• Official Medical certificate 

 Details:

THEORY: For the theoretical part we will give you the PADI Night Diver manual and after reading it you will complete the simple review of knowledge that appears at the end of it. In our classroom we will correct it solving all your possible doubts. This course has no exam.

PRACTICE: During the 4 dives of the course you will practice: planning and safety management in a night dive, and analyze the species that host these dives and their predatory behavior. In addition we will practice protocols for loss of lighting (you will navigate in the dark and you will have to make the stop at 3 meters and ascent to the surface without light), emergencies at night, launching a marker buoy in a safety stop, breathing from a safety tank, etc.
