Depth: The maximum depth of dives in San Pedro del Pinatar is usually around 18 meters, making them suitable for divers of all levels.
Visibility: Visibility in the Mar Menor is generally good, allowing you to enjoy the marine life and underwater landscape.
Marine Life: Although not as abundant as in the Mediterranean, the Mar Menor is home to a variety of marine species, such as sea bream, gilthead bream, sea bass, seahorses, starfish, nudibranchs, and different types of algae.
Dive Sites: There are several interesting dive sites in San Pedro del Pinatar, such as:
Piedras Blancas (White Stones): A rock formation with a maximum depth of 18 meters, ideal for divers of all levels.
Bajo de la Campana (Bell Shoal): A shoal located off the coast of San Javier, near Isla Grosa, with a maximum depth of 24 meters. It is known for its shipwreck remains.
Isla Grosa: A protected island with rich marine biodiversity. A special permit is required to dive here.
The Dive
