Deep Diver Specialty Course

Would you like to go even deeper in your dives? Do 30 meters not feel like enough?

The Deep Diving Specialty will allow you to access specific dives and observe places you never imagined beyond 30 meters deep. If you want to see a wreck or wonderful gorgonians and corals that are up to 40 meters deep with full training and safety, the Deep Diving Specialty is all you need.

What does the Deep Diving Specialty consist of?

It consists of a theoretical part and a practical part.

• Theoretical part: You will receive the theoretical manual that explains everything you need to prevent risks and plan deep dives up to 40 meters.

• Practical part: You will do 3 dives to practice deep diving skills. In them you will learn:

  • Planning and safety management in a deep dive

  • You will learn and know the risks of diving below 30 meters and how to prevent them

  • Different narcosis tests

  • Know the protocols in case of exceeding the limits of the safety curve

  • Descents and ascents without a line

  • Having to make an emergency decompression stop ascent

  • Specific signals for the use of the dive computer and lighting

  • Multilevel dive management

  • Gas management, use of a safety bottle.

  • The importance of trusting your team, your partner, and being rested and perfectly hydrated in a deep dive

  • And a selection of exercises and specific practices of deep diving

• What do I have to bring to do the Deep Diving Specialty?

We recommend you bring a swimsuit and towel, and if you tend to get seasick when traveling by car or boat, we also recommend you take some motion sickness pills.

• What is the maximum depth we will go to?

The maximum depth in the Deep Diving Specialty is 40 meters.
