Open Water Diver Course (Theory + Confined waters)

The Open Water Diver course will provide you with the first recognised certification in the diving world. Upon completion of this course you will have the freedom to dive in any sea/ocean to a maximum depth of 18 metres without the need to be accompanied by an instructor.

This course consists of two phases; theory and practical. In the theory you will learn about the physiology of a diver, equipment components, diving safety laws, etc. After completing the theory, you will be able to apply this knowledge underwater in the practical part.

In the practical part you will apply the knowledge previously learnt in theory, where the student will dismantle and assemble the equipment, learn how each of its parts works, and learn how to resolve different situations underwater, always putting your safety and the protection of the marine environment as a priority.

This practice consists of a first part in the swimming pool, where the student will become familiar for the first time with the sensation of breathing underwater and some exercises will be carried out.

Warning: after doing this course, it is very possible that you will start to feel a certain addiction for diving!

Requirements:

• Previous experience: not necessary

• Minimum age: 10 years old
