The Cathedral

This is one of the most popular dives in Lanzarote, and perhaps it is because in the cave that receives the name of Cathedral, the dive is comfortable and very complete; we have vertical walls where we can look for hidden life, immense sand banks where we can observe stingrays and angelsharks, caves with all types of fauna and even a small wreck in case we are interested in getting close to it.

Entering from the beach, we will go deeper until we reach the cliff or wall (20 metres), which we will follow to reach the entrance to the impressive cathedral, which we will enter through its upper part until we reach the end, where we will find other smaller caves with a variety of sponges, spider crabs, large groupers and angel sharks. When we turn around we can observe the intense blue and the depth of the cave with its shapes.

The return is made in front of Playa Chica, on a shallow bottom that will entertain us during the safety stop.
