Search and Recovery Specialty Course

Have you ever seen someone lose their mask or a fin when they jump into the water? Has someone ever asked you to help you recover their keys, or perhaps a small anchor lost over the side of their boat? 

Oceans, lakes and rivers are dynamic environments, and sometimes things get lost. Finding and recovering lost items is an advanced skill, and requires careful thought and dive planning. Without proper preparation, a search could take much longer than it should, or be a failed recovery operation.

If you are ready to take another step in your training as a recreational diver, develop new skills and knowledge that will allow you to feel more comfortable diving, it is time to enroll in the Search and Recovery course. In this course you will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out the recovery of small objects (a ring, watch, wallet, etc.) and medium-sized objects (underwater cameras, boat engines, etc.) in an environment . of open water.

Requirements:

• open water diver

• 12 years old

• Completed medical questionnaire / Official medical certificate

Details:

You will do 2 dives in which you will learn the different underwater search and recovery techniques.
