SCUBA Review Course
Has it been a while since you last dived? Do you feel like you've forgotten some of your diving knowledge and skills? Then ScubaReview is just what you need.
COURSE STRUCTURE
This course reintroduces you to diving by reviewing theoretical and practical knowledge so you can feel comfortable underwater again.
You will review the diving knowledge you learned in your initial training. Next, you will practice fundamental exercises in a pool or a confined water area.
You will review:
- Safe diving practices.
- Fundamentals of dive planning.
- Equipment setup.
- Performing the 20 practical exercises in water.
- Problem management.
- Breathing gas at depth.
- Recreational diving and dive computers: basic knowledge.
- Recreational diving and dive computers: dive planning.
After you have completed the knowledge assessment, you will preview the confined water exercises. You will review the information for each skill, because it's important to remember the points when you perform the exercises. Completing this section just before practice is a great way to refresh your knowledge of how each skill is performed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years of age.
- Certified as a Padi (junior) ScubaDiver or enrolled in an entry-level diving course.
DIVING EQUIPMENT
In this course, you can use your own diving equipment, and if there is a piece of equipment you do not have, we can rent it to you during the course. Remember that if you have not dived with your regulator for more than six months, it is advisable to have it serviced to avoid potential problems. If you wish, we can perform the corresponding check-up and tune it up for you to resume diving.
After you have completed the knowledge assessment, you will review the confined water exercises. Completing this section just before practice is a great way to refresh your knowledge of how each skill is performed.
The ScubaReview course is particularly beneficial if:
- You are an Open WaterDiver course student who wants a refresher before making the open water training dives.

- You simply haven't dived for a while and want to reacclimate.
- You are planning a trip and want to refresh diving techniques and skills.

We include equipment in all our activities, except for Fun Dives, in this case, if you do not have equipment, you can rent it directly at the center.
