Diving in Tabarca 🤿

All our dives are led by expert guides familiar with the area, covering depths from 6 to 56 meters. We use nitrox tanks, highly recommended for depths beyond 20 meters, enhancing your time underwater for a more enjoyable experience.

Explore Isla de Tabarca Marine Reserve 🐟🐚

The reserve surrounds the island in a rectangular area, featuring two main diving zones:

Interior Waters

Closer to the shore, this area includes dive sites like Escull Negre, Artificial Reefs, La Galera, Escull Roig, and Open Waters. Diving here is possible year-round:

- October 1st to March 31st: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

- April 1st to September 30th: Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Exterior Waters

Further from the shore, featuring sites like La Nao and South of Llosa (also known as Merolandia).

- Restrictions: No diving in January.

- March and October 6th to January: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

- April to September: Daily.

You no longer need to handle any paperwork a week in advance to dive in the Isla de Tabarca Marine Reserve, but booking in advance is crucial as spots are limited.

Required Documentation 📜

To dive in the reserve, you need:

- Diving certification

- ID card

- Diving insurance (available at our center on the morning of the dive).

It is essential to present all documents in person on the day of the dive.

ANCHOR 🏺

Dive to depths of 32 to 38 meters and discover yellow gorgonians and an ancient anchor over six meters long, along with giant anemones and rich marine fauna. Located outside the marine reserve, this site is ideal for advanced divers who want to explore rock formations and admire yellow encrusting anemones. 🐙🐡

Artificial Reefs – Interior Tabarca Reserve 🐚

Located within the marine reserve in interior waters, this dive is perfect for intermediate levels and takes you to explore square structures and three sunken ships over a sandy bottom. Encounter scorpionfish, moray eels, and a vibrant underwater life amongst gorgonians and anemones. Ideal for those seeking unique experiences without straying too far. 🐠🚢

Cardi Ship ⚓

Explore the remains of a wooden sunken ship at a depth of -32 meters. Also outside the reserve, this dive is perfect for advanced divers interested in exploring marine life like moray eels, octopuses, and spectacular fish schools among anemones and sandy bottoms. 🐟🦑

Claro 10 and Cuca 24 🛳

From baptisms and courses at Claro 10, ideal for beginners over a sandy bottom, to the adventure at Cuca 24 where you can dive among the remains of a sunken ship at -24 meters. Both sites offer close encounters with marine life and are perfect for enjoying diving with nitrox to maximize your time underwater. 🐚🐠

Escull Negre – Interior Tabarca Reserve 🌿

A calm and basic dive around a small island, ideal for beginners. Enjoy the biological diversity on the rocky walls and bottom, surrounded by a seagrass meadow. Depths from -2 to -13 meters allow you to relax and enjoy the underwater serenity. 🌊🐟

La Nao – Exterior Tabarca Reserve 🌐

Dive around rock formations and arches in exterior waters. With depths of -2 to -13 meters, it’s accessible for beginners and offers a spectacular setting of underwater flora and fauna over a sandy bottom and seagrass. 🐠🦀
