Dives in Tabarca 🤿

All our dives are guided by expert monitors familiar with the area, with depths ranging from -6 to -56 meters. We use nitrox tanks, especially recommended for dives deeper than 20 meters, which allows for extended underwater times and more enjoyment of each dive.

Diving in the Isla de Tabarca Marine Reserve 🐟🐚

The reserve extends in a rectangle around the island, with two main areas:

Interior Waters

This area is closer to the coast and includes dive sites such as Escull Negre, Artificial Reefs, La Galera, Escull Roig, and Aguas Libres. Here, diving is possible all year round:

- From October 1 to March 31: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

- From April 1 to September 30: Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Exterior Waters

Further from the coast, this area includes dives such as La Nao and Sur de la Llosa (also known as Merolandia).

- Restrictions: No diving in January.

- From March and from October to January 6: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

- From April to September: Every day.

To dive within the Isla de Tabarca Marine Reserve, no prior paperwork a week in advance is necessary, but it is crucial to book your spot in advance, as they are limited.

Necessary Documentation 📜

To dive in the reserve, you need:

- Diving certification

- ID card

- Diving insurance (available at our center on the morning of the dive).

It is essential to present all the documentation in person on the day of the dive.

ANCHOR 🏺

Dive down to depths of 32 to 38 meters and discover yellow gorgonians and an ancient anchor over six meters long, as well as giant anemones and rich marine life. This dive, located outside the marine reserve, is ideal for advanced divers who wish to explore the rocks forming a large square and admire the encrusting yellow anemones. 🐙🐡

Artificial Reefs – Inner Tabarca Reserve 🐚

Located within the marine reserve in interior waters, this dive is perfect for intermediate levels and takes you to explore square structures and three sunken ships over a sandy bottom. Find large scorpionfish, morays, and vibrant underwater life among gorgonians and anemones. Ideal for those seeking unique experiences without straying too far. 🐠🚢

Cardi Ship ⚓

Explore the remains of a wooden sunken ship at a depth of -32 meters. This dive, also outside the reserve, is perfect for advanced divers interested in exploring marine life such as morays, octopuses, and spectacular fish schools among anemones and sandy bottoms. 🐟🦑

Claro 10 and Cuca 24 🛳

From baptisms and courses in Claro 10, ideal for beginners on a sandy bottom, to the adventure of Cuca 24 where you can dive among the remains of a sunken ship at -24 meters. Both sites offer close encounters with marine life and are perfect for enjoying diving with nitrox to maximize your underwater time. 🐚🐠

Escull Negre – Inner Tabarca Reserve 🌿

A calm and basic dive around an islet, ideal for beginners. Enjoy the biological diversity on the rocky walls and bottom, surrounded by a meadow of oceanic posidonia. Depths from -2 to -13 meters allow you to relax and enjoy the underwater serenity. 🌊🐟

La Nao – Outer Tabarca Reserve 🌐

Dive around rock formations and arches in outer waters. With depths of -2 to -13 meters, it is accessible for beginners and offers a spectacular scene of underwater flora and fauna over a sandy and posidonia bottom. 🐠🦀
