Diving Day with Body Awareness and Respect for the Marine Environment in Cabo de Palos
Objective: To develop a full day of diving that combines the practice of diving with body awareness, respect for the marine environment and the gastronomic experience of a paella.
This day of diving offers a unique experience that combines the practice of diving with the development of body awareness and respect for the marine environment. Participants will have the opportunity to improve their diving technique, learn about the importance of conservation of the marine ecosystem and enjoy a delicious paella.
PLAN
Morning:
Reception of participants, welcome and presentation of the day.
First body awareness class: Breathing practices, stretching and relaxation techniques for better posture and body control during the dive.
Preparation of diving equipment and transfer to the dive site.
First dive: Focus on correct body position during the dive, with special attention to buoyancy, movement control and efficiency in the use of the equipment. The guide will remind the importance of respect for the marine environment, avoiding touching or damaging the underwater flora and fauna.
Break
Tasting of a traditional paella at the dive center itself.
Afternoon:
Second dive: Reinforcement of the practice of correct body position and respect for the marine environment. The guide will share information about the ecology of the site and the importance of preserving the marine ecosystem.
Dismantling of equipment and return to the dive center.
Second body awareness class at sunset: Self-observation techniques, identification of muscular tensions and strategies to maintain a correct posture.
Farewell to participants and summary of the day.
Resources:
Qualified dive instructors experienced in teaching body awareness.
Full diving equipment for each participant.
Transportation to the dive site.
Paella for lunch.
Recommendations:
Wear comfortable clothes and swimsuit.
Bring towel and sunscreen.
Drink plenty of water before, during and after the activities.
Inform the instructor of any medical problem or physical condition that may affect diving.
Note: It is important to adapt the day's dive to the weather conditions and experience level of the participants. Instructors will assess each participant's skills prior to the dive and adjust the difficulty of the dive accordingly.
Equipment rental
Our center includes a dive shop where you will find diving equipment for sale, an area that can be used for studying or as a meeting room with a TV screen available, a wet room with all of our diving equipment, a repair station and hot showers to ensure proper comfort after your dives or workouts.
