Night Dive Specialty Course

Night diving, everything changes...

Other species never seen during the day, dives full of colour, the moon and the stars, have you never been interested in night diving? It's amazing. Already in your Advanced Open Water Diver course you will have been able to choose to do a night dive to get a glimpse of this incredible adventure. 

Night dives anywhere in the world are easy, close to shore and at shallow depths, but on many occasions we can plan something different.

It would seem very appealing to dive a wreck at night, or a Caribbean-style dive in the middle of nowhere. That comes with training, and this is a good speciality to build up a good diving CV and to accompany us on those night dives that are planned for the more experienced. 

Requirements: 

•  Open Water Diver

•  12 years old 

Details:

THEORY: For the theoretical part we will give you the PADI Night Diver manual and after reading it you will complete the simple review of knowledge that appears at the end of it. In our classroom we will correct all your possible doubts. This course has no exam.

PRACTICE: During the 4 dives of the course you will practise: planning and safety management in a night dive, and we will analyse the species that these dives are home to and their predatory behaviour. In addition we will practice protocols for loss of light (you will navigate in the dark and will have to make the stop at 3 metres and surface ascent without light), emergencies at night, launching a marker buoy at a safety stop, breathing from a safety tank, etc.
