In the Rescue Diver course you will learn the rescue manoeuvres of a diver, as well as gain confidence and safety underwater. The course consists of a theoretical part, the EFR course and a practical part:
The EFR (Emergency First Response): 1 day course where the student will learn about first aid and CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation).
10 rescue exercises:
Tired diver
Panicked Diver
Response from shore, boat or dock (conscious diver)
Diver in trouble underwater
Missing diver
Bringing an unconscious diver to the surface
Unconscious diver at the surface
Exiting the water with an unconscious diver
First aid related to pressure and oxygen administration
Response from shore, boat or dock (unconscious diver)
2 rescue simulations:
Unconscious diver underwater
Unconscious diver on the surface
Prerequisites:
Previous experience: Adventure Diver certification (have completed at least 2 Adventure Dives of the Advanced Open Water
Minimum age: 12 years old
