Facilities at our dive base in Khao Lak
Our modern dive bases in Khao Lak consist of customer service areas, dive equipment showrooms, equipment rental, as well as maintenance and repair stations and tank filling stations.
Our training centre is only a few minutes walk from the dive base at the Palm Garden Resort. The classrooms are equipped with modern multimedia devices and air conditioning.
In the heart of the resort there is also a three metre deep swimming pool where our beginners and training classes are held. Right next to the dive base is our cosy restaurant, serving Thai and international cuisine. It is the perfect place to meet up with your dive buddies at the end of the day.

The Cabins
The MV Stingray features 4 en suite cabins, each fitted with a bunk bed setup. Each equipped with air conditioning, storage space and charging ports. Even the bathroom in every cabin features a LED-lit mirror, a rain shower and a modern toilet.
The Divedeck
The wide catamaran style of the MV Stingray offers a spacious dive deck for divers to set up their equipment. You will also find their is plenty of space to hang your wetsuits and dry your clothes. The Dive Deck also includes outdoor and indoor with the rain shower feature.
The Sundeck
The Upper deck of the MV Stingray offers a covered open space that gives all guests room to relax whilst enjoying the ocean breeze between the dives. The Sundeck is also fitted with speakers and additional storage.
Equipment rental
We include equipment in all our activities, except Fun Dives, in this case, if you don't have equipment, you can rent it directly from the center.

The sea.
1. Never hold your breath
Breathe deeply and slowly underwater. In addition to avoiding lung overexpansion issues, you will save air during your dive.
2. Always dive with a buddy
Always dive with a partner and make sure you stay close at all times.
3. Respect your limits
Always dive within the limits of your training. Train yourself before taking on new challenges.
4. Buoyancy
By maintaining good buoyancy control, you will increase your level of control, which will undoubtedly contribute to safer diving.
5. Pre-dive check
Before diving, check with your buddy: BCD, weights, straps, air, and final OK. This way, you can be sure you are ready to enter the water.
6. Keep learning
The more you practice your diving skills, the safer you will feel underwater. In courses like Rescue Diver, you can also learn rescue maneuvers to increase group safety.
