Dive with Malapascua's famous thresher sharks!

Malapascua is known as the only place in the world where thresher sharks can be seen every day. And you're in luck! There's never been a better time to come and see them 😊 Sightings have been incredible—the best in the 20 years we've been here!

Kimud Shoal is an advanced dive site, but if you're an Open Water diver, you can dive there with an instructor to ensure your safety.

Several options are available:

• An instructor-led dive, which can include a PADI Shark Conservation Dive, counting towards your PADI Advanced Open Water (AOW) course.

• An instructor-led dive just for fun.

• A PADI Deep Adventure Dive, which certifies you to dive to 30 meters in the future and also counts towards your PADI Advanced Open Water course.

The dive is usually done as part of a 2-dive trip to Kimud Shoal. You can choose 2 instructor-led dives or upgrade one of them to a Deep Adventure Dive. You can also decide once you’re here. Sometimes the trip includes 3 dives, with the third being optional and at an additional cost.

The price includes:

• 2 dives

• Free equipment rental, including a dive computer

• Boat fees, including the fuel surcharge for Kimud Shoal

• Instructor fees

• Park fees (valid for the day)

Note:

If you haven’t dived in a while, for your safety, you may be required to do a check dive or a refresher beforehand. This would take place the day before, as the Kimud Shoal dive is an early morning departure.
