Are you ready to make the leap to a professional career in the dive industry? With the Divemaster course at Shark Expeditions, you'll take your diving knowledge and skills to the next level, perfecting your techniques to a professional standard.
Experience Required:
40 logged dives at the start of the course and 60 dives upon certification.
CertifiedRescue Diver.
EFR (Emergency First Response) course completed within the last 24 months.
Current medical certificate less than two years old.
What does the Divemaster Course consist of?
The Divemaster course combines theory and intensive practice, aimed at developing your leadership and supervisory skills in diving activities. Through this course, you will not only strengthen your theoretical knowledge, but you will also acquire the ability to assist instructors in the training of new divers and supervise diving activities with confidence.
Course Contents:
The course includes 9 knowledge development sessions, which you can take in any order you prefer, except for the first, which must be the Divemaster Roles and Characteristics session (face-to-face and prior to any in-water practice).

Supervision of diving activities
Assisting student divers
Diver safety and risk management
PADI Divemaster-led programmes

Dive Environment Awareness
Dive theory- physics, physiology, general techniques, equipment, decompression theory and tables
After completing the theory, you'll move on to practical in-water and stamina exercises, where you'll learn to organise and solve problems in real-world scenarios. This training will prepare you to lead and assist in diving activities, ensuring you can handle any situation with skill and professionalism.
