If you're planning to do five or more dives during your stay in the Maldives and you’re not already Advanced certified, we highly recommend you take the opportunity to do so while you’re here! This course opens up a world of new dive sites, including our famous shark channels, and allows you to explore deeper, more exciting dive sites around Fulidhoo.

Our dive sites are ideal for the adventure dives that make up the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, and this course will enhance your skills and confidence as a diver while exploring the underwater world in greater depth.

What’s Included in the Course?

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course consists of five dives and five knowledge reviews (without a final exam). There are two mandatory dives:

• Deep Diver (explore deeper dive sites)

• Underwater Navigator (learn how to use a compass underwater)

For the remaining three dives, you can choose from a variety of adventure dives. Some popular options here in Fulidhoo include:

• Drift Diver

• Fish Identification

• Night Diver

• Underwater Naturalist

• Peak Performance Buoyancy

As the Navigator dive involves compass work, this dive is usually conducted in the lagoon, while the other four dives take place on our scheduled boat dives.

Course Duration

The course is typically completed over 2.5 days, giving you plenty of time to refine your skills and enjoy Fulidhoo’s incredible dive sites.

Optional Add-ons

If you’re planning to do the Alimatha Night Dive during your stay (which we highly recommend!), please note that it’s not the best environment for a training dive, so we suggest adding it as an additional dive after completing your course. Contact us for more details, and we’ll be happy to customize your dive package.

All of our packages are completely customizable based on your schedule, interests, and diving goals. We can add extra days, dives, and excursions to make your stay in the Maldives even more memorable. The best thing is to contact us with your rough travel dates, and we will work with you to create the perfect diving package.

Accommodation rates vary depending on the season, with prices based on two people sharing a room during low season.
