Dharavandhoo Divers is the first dive centre on the island of Dharavandhoo, born in 2014 from the great passion for the sea and the many years of experience in Baa Atoll of Jessica and Virgilio, a couple of Italian PADI and FIAS instructors and underwater photography enthusiasts.

Our Boats
All diving and snorkeling activities are carried out on board our traditional boats (dhoani), which comfortably accommodate 20 divers. Both are equipped with a sundeck and bathroom.

Hanifaru Bay is a unique marine protected area in the Maldives where whale sharks and manta rays congregate in large numbers.
Dharavandhoo Divers is located 5 minutes by boat from Hanifaru Bay, the most famous site in the Maldives for spotting manta rays and whale sharks during the southwest monsoon period, between May and November.

The sea.
1. Never hold your breath
Breathe deeply and slowly underwater. In addition to avoiding lung overexpansion issues, you will save air during your dive.
2. Always dive with a buddy
Always dive with a partner and make sure you stay close at all times.
3. Respect your limits
Always dive within the limits of your training. Train yourself before taking on new challenges.
4. Buoyancy
By maintaining good buoyancy control, you will increase your level of control, which will undoubtedly contribute to safer diving.
5. Pre-dive check
Before diving, check with your buddy: BCD, weights, straps, air, and final OK. This way, you can be sure you are ready to enter the water.
6. Keep learning
The more you practice your diving skills, the safer you will feel underwater. In courses like Rescue Diver, you can also learn rescue maneuvers to increase group safety.
