Xahuayxol is located on the northern edge of the Xcalak reserve, just an hour and a half by boat from Mahahual, considered for years to be one of the areas with the best coral preservation, with deep-sea gorgonian gardens accompanied by huge orange elephant ear sponges and coral gardens in the shallowest dive.

Large mountains of coral between 12 and 40 meters deep, lined with vertebrate and invertebrate corals that makes diving in Xcalak and the Xahuayxol area distinctive and unique.

Casa blanca

Intricate mountains lined with invertebrate coral. Characteristic for the sighting of nurse sharks, the possibility of finding manatees and other species of tropical fish, turtles, and species of crustaceans.

Recommendations

• Be in good health and physical Shape

• It is recommended to come in a group (minimum 4), so as not to have limitations, but if this is not the case, we will do our best to put together a group, if not, the program changes to dives off the coast of Mahahual where we have no minimum number of participants

Restrictions

• A minimum group size of 4 divers

• Waves less than 1.4 meters to be able to cross safely

• All divers must have current certification

• Have a logged dive in the last year

• 2 tanks = 6 hours
