Your Most Professional Dive Emergency First Aid Course
Open to both divers and non-divers, the Emergency First Response (EFR) training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond to medical emergencies.
Over two days, with the support of self-learning manuals and videos, you will complete EFR courses that teach the essential skills needed for primary and secondary care, as well as child care with CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator - optional).
EFR Courses Follow Internationally Recognized Medical Guidelines for Emergency Care:
Primary Care (CPR)
You will learn the steps and techniques to handle life-threatening emergencies.
You'll practice eight critical skills to assist patients who:
Are not breathing
Have no heartbeat
May have a spinal injury
Could be in shock
Are suffering from severe bleeding
You will learn how to perform CPR and continue monitoring the patient to maximize their chances of survival while waiting for emergency medical services (EMS) to arrive.
Secondary Care (First Aid)
Since many medical conditions are not life-threatening, and EMS may sometimes be delayed or unavailable, this section teaches first aid techniques to:
Relieve pain
Reduce the risk of further injury
Care for Children
You will learn, practice, and apply emergency care skills specifically for infants and children.
This section is ideal for:
People who work with children
Anyone likely to respond to emergencies involving young individuals
CPR & AED Training
This section focuses on:
CPR training
How to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
If workplace or government regulations require this training, the CPR & AED course meets those requirements.
This course is often integrated with Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) courses.
