Scuba Refresh 2 dives At Playa del Carmen

If you haven't dived in a while, refresh your dive knowledge and skills. The PADI Scuba Refesh is designed to help you regain your confidence and make sure you remember how to dive safely.

The fun part

Review your knowledge and skills underwater. Improve your diving skills and get your equipment ready for your next dive holiday. Enjoy a pool session to get you fit and some great dives off the coast of Playa del Carmen, in the warm, clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, with coral and fish of many radiant colours.

What you learn:

You'll review the diving skills you learned during your initial training. You will then practice the basic skills in the pool before returning to the water.

Some exercises will be performed:

• Practise all the safety of a dive

• Assembling scuba equipment

• Dive planning

• Contingency management

• And other exercises... according to your needs and what you remember, after a small preliminary evaluation (mask emptying, regulator change, controlled emergency ascent).

Timetable and programme :

• Meeting at 9:30 am at our Dive Centre.

• Session in the swimming pool: to learn the basics in peace and quiet.

• A dive in the sea: Departure at 12:30 to dive again and enjoy the magnificent richness of the marine life of the Caribbean.

What should I bring?

• Your swimming costume, a towel and your smile.

• Your PADI level certification card or equivalent organisation.

Prerequisites:

To enrol, you must:

• Be a certified diver or enrolled in an underwater certification course .

• Be at least 10 years of age.

• Complete our PADI Medical Questionnaire. This form allows you to check if you need to be examined by a doctor before participating in recreational dive training. If any of the items on the medical questionnaire apply to you, you should consult a physician before participating in the dive.

What is included?

• Instruction by a professional, multilingual, PADI certified diver.

• Knowledge development

• Confined water skills practice

• Practice in the sea with two dives in two shallow sites in Playa Del Carmen.

• Water and fruit on the boat

• Diving equipment :

The equipment you will need is NOT included in the Scuba Refresh. You will need to rent it for an extra cost of 20 USD.

You will use all the basic scuba equipment, which includes a mask, snorkel and fins, a buoyancy control device (BCD) that also holds your scuba tank, a regulator for breathing, a pressure gauge to control the air supply, a wetsuit and a weight belt.
