The fun part...

The most fun part of this course is... Well, almost everything. Learning to dive is an incredible discovery. During the course you will do at least two pool sessions and four dives on the reefs of Playa Del Carmen under the supervision of a PADI Professional Instructor.

Playa Del Carmen is a perfect place to do your training, crystal clear waters, plenty of fish, little current... Do your training in one of the most beautifuldive sites in the world... the Caribbean Sea.

To register, you must :

  • Be at least 10 years old for the PADI Junior Open Water courses and at least 15 years old for the Open Water Diver course.

  • Complete our PADI Medical Questionnaire. This form allows you to check if you need to be examined by a doctor before participating in recreational dive training. If any of the items on the medical questionnaire apply to you, you should consult a doctor before participating in the dive.

What you learn:

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three distinct sections....

Theory: The theory part of the Open Water course includes e-learning from home or with the manual, videos, quizzes and exams. The theory module consists of 5 chapters and covers a range of topics such as pressure-depth relationships, the underwater environment, dive planning and equipment.

Pool training: During the pool (or ‘confined water’) part, students practice all the basic diving exercises that they will have to master during open water dives, such as ear compensation, mask removal, regulator change, ... in a controlledcalm and familiar environment before entering the sea.

Open water dives: Under the close supervision of a PADI professional instructor, you'll apply the knowledge and skills learned in the theory and pool sections of the course to real dives in the sea.
