Bubble Maker PADI Program

An opportunity for children to blow bubbles while diving.

A great way to introduce children to scuba diving, at a maximum depth of 2 metres/6 feet in the pool. Organise anunforgettable birthday party or an exciting celebration. A Bubblemaker with friends and family at our Dune Playa del Carmen dive centre is fun, easy and safe.

The fun part

Younger children can join the diving family or even take up a new hobby. Children should be comfortable in the water, but they don't need to be strong swimmers, as the maximum depth is only 2 metres.

A typical session lasts approximately 2 hours (including registration, equipment and fun).

Prerequisites

To register, you must.

• Be at least 8 years old.

• Have mum or dad's approval

• Complete our PADI Medical Questionnaire This form allows you to check if your child needs to be examined by your doctor before participating in recreational dive training. If any of the items on the medical questionnaire apply to him/her, he/she should consult a doctor before participating in the dive

What you learn

• Discover what scuba diving is all about under the direct supervision and instruction of our PADI instructors

• Take their firstbreath underwater

• Learn about and use scuba equipment made for children, not adults.

Equipment and gear

Children use all the basic scuba diving equipment, which is tailor-made for them. We have a stock of diving equipment for children and the tanks are the same as those used by mum and dad, only smaller.

For reasons of comfort and hygiene, many people prefer to use their own equipment. If you want the peace of mind and comfort of using your own equipment, we can help you. You can invest in your own mask, snorkel and fins, as these personal items are a lot more fun when fitted correctly. Also, for an extra $7, you can get a new mouthpiece for the regulator that you will use during the course, which you can keep afterwards. Something you might want to keep in mind

Schedule and programme

• Meet at our dive centre at 8.30 am to 11 am.

• Pool session from 9 to 11 a.m.

• Return to our dive centre at 11.30 am

• Your towel

• And mum and/or dad to sign the registration forms.
