El Foso

If you like deep dives and drama, this is the cenote for you! One of the deep cenotes we visited, the Pit has a depth of 35m and features three layers of water with different densities: fresh water at the top, then salt water, followed by a cloud of hydrogen sulphide at the ‘bottom’ at about 35m. This cenote has a huge and spacious cavern area with impressively large stalactites. Suitable for first dives in cenotes, provided divers have experience in deep dives.

Two Eyes

This cenote is famous and rightly so. This large cenote has two different dives you can do there (Bat Cave & Barbie Line). One has lots of laser lights and tunnels that give you the feeling of cave diving as there is little natural light in some areas. Bat Cave has thousands of stalactites and rock formations to admire. Probably the most famous of the Mexican cenotes and for good reason, it is simply spectacular!
