Casa Chihuahua - Your Refuge in the Heart of Bayahibe 🌴

Welcome to Casa Chihuahua, our home in the heart of the charming town of Bayahibe. We chose to live in a typical Dominican house that we have renovated with natural materials such as wood and local coral stone to create a cozy and comfortable space. The name of the house comes from our 4 rescued chihuahua dogs, who are part of our family.

Accommodation

One Room for Rent: At Casa Chihuahua we only have one room available for guests, guaranteeing an intimate and personalised experience. This is the perfect option for those who wish to experience and discover the local culture and lifestyle of the people of Bayahibe, avoiding the big resorts and enjoying a more authentic village experience.

Room Amenities:

• Capacity: The room can accommodate 1 or 2 people.

• Bed: Queen size double bed with mosquito net.

• Private Bathroom: Includes shower and toilet.

• Additional Amenities: Mini-fridge, ceiling fan and Wifi.

• Important: The room is cool and airy, but does not have air-conditioning.

Local Experience

Our house is located in the heart of the village of Bayahibe, less than 5 minutes walk from the sea. It is the ideal place if you want to spend a few days soaking up the local life and Dominican culture. However, the town centre can be a little noisy, especially on weekends and holidays, so it is not the ideal accommodation for those looking for absolute peace and quiet.

And of course, the company of our chihuahuas outside the rooms! 😉
