Adventure Diver

Achieving your Open Water Diver certification has been your first step into exploring the underwater world; however, this level limits your dives to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet). In the Adventure Diver program, you will be able to explore new environments beyond this depth, making you a much more versatile diver. Additionally, you'll avoid missing out on many great dives that go beyond the Open Water limits.

In this course, you will complete three adventure dives, where you can choose from various specialties such as deep diving, wreck diving, buoyancy control, drift diving, night diving, and more.

For this course, you will need to read three topics from your advanced diving manual. Based on this theory, you will participate in three adventure dives guided by your PADI diving instructor.

The other knowledge and skills you will acquire will vary depending on your interests and the adventures you choose – such as photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, wreck exploration, and many more.

You can earn academic credits for the PADI Adventure Diver course.

Also, if you join one of the scheduled trips by Aquausb, your dives will be counted as part of your Advanced Diver certification.

As an advanced diver, you will frequently dive to depths of 30 to 40 meters (100 to 140 feet). Remember, you must have a minimum surface interval of at least 18 hours before taking a flight or ascending to altitudes higher than 300 meters.
