Overview

Become a certified diver with the Swiss professionals at SUBEX! Our SUBEX Diver course offers solid and complete training to start your diving journey in a safe and fun way. In this course, you’ll learn how to dive correctly from the very beginning, with guidance from highly qualified instructors. Over 5 days of intensive training, you will complete 7 dives and attend 6 theoretical lessons, so you can enjoy diving in the Red Sea while learning how to combine safety and adventure underwater.

Requirements

To participate in the course, you must be in good health and at least 14 years old.

No prior diving experience is required, but you must be able to swim.

About the Course

The SUBEX Diver course is an entry-level diving program that prepares you to obtain the CMAS 1-STAR DIVER (T*) / OWD certification. This 5-day course includes 7 dives, 6 theoretical lessons, and plenty of practical training in the sea. From day one, you will be diving in the Red Sea, learning how to handle your equipment, breathe underwater, and move safely in a unique marine environment.

Upon completion of the SUBEX Diver course, you will be certified to dive autonomously anywhere in the world, to a maximum depth of 18 meters, always accompanied by a guide.

Course Content

• 7 Dives: The Discover, Trust, Buddy, Float, Help, Safety, and Adventure dives will allow you to learn and practice key skills for safe and responsible diving, directly in the sea (no pool lessons!).

• 6 Theoretical Lessons on equipment, ecology, anatomy, physics, diving accidents, and dive calculations.

Course Objective

The main goal of the course is to teach you how to dive safely and consciously. In small groups of 2 to 4 people, you will learn how to use your diving equipment, breathe underwater, move efficiently, react to emergency situations, and protect coral reefs through eco-friendly actions.

Additional Information

The course is certified with the CMAS T* certification.

If preferred, you can obtain the SSI Open Water Diver certification upon request, for an additional fee.
