Protectorate Diving Safari - 8 Days

Our "Best of Dahab" program is designed for divers who have a minimum qualification of Open Water Diver and want to experience the ultimate Sinai adventure. It is a combination of diving the best sites in and around Dahab, including the famous Camel Dive Safari, the Boat Safari to Gabr el Bint, and the two different Marine Reserves (Gabr El Bint in Nabq and Ras Abu Galloum), as well as a 4x4 Jeep Safari through the desert, canyons, and dunes of Sinai.

This program is also ideal for families and friends who want to accompany the divers on their trip, so that the whole family or group of friends can enjoy one week of adventure together.

(The non-diver program is "LAND02") Camel dive safari to the Ras Abu Galloum Marine Reserve, Boat dive safari to the Nabq Marine Reserve to Gabr El Bint, Desert Jeep Safari through the canyons, and a day dive in Dahab.

THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:

MEAL PLAN:

• 7 days on a bed and breakfast basis at Daniela Diving Resort Dahab.

• Day 3 and Day 5 lunch during the safari.

• Day 6, customers must choose between two options:

  • 2 guided dives with transportation & dinner at Daniela.

  • 4x4 Desert Safari to the Canyons with lunch during the safari.

ACCOMMODATION:

• 1-week accommodation at Daniela Diving Resort.

THE PROGRAM DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• Transfer from Sharm El Sheik airport to Daniela Dahab and from Daniela Dahab to Sharm airport.

• Visa: 2-week Gulf Visa.

• Optional excursions.

• Tipping (hotel, guide, driver, etc.).

• Any extras not mentioned.

Things to Consider:

• The total number of guided dives is 6, or 8 if you choose the diving option on Day 6.

• The dives include tanks, weights, belts, transportation, and guide.

• There might be changes in the schedule due to weather conditions, boat availability, or group plans.

• 2 dives in the Dahab area.

• 2 dives in Ras Abu Galloum by camel.

• 2 dives in Gabr El Bint by boat.

• 2 dives in Dahab or a desert safari.

Full Schedule Details:

Day 1 - Dahab
Arrival at Daniela Hotel, check-in, and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 - Dahab Jeep Diving – 2 dives – Bed and Breakfast.
After breakfast, there will be a briefing at the Daniela Diving Center. The dive equipment and weights, with buoyancy checks, will be organized before heading out for your first dive of the week. Full-day diving, 2 guided dives in the Dahab area by Jeep or pickup truck. There is a choice between many famous dive sites such as the Canyon, Blue Hole, the Islands, the Three Pools, Eel Gardens, and many more. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 - Ras Abu Galloum (Abu Galloum Protectorate) – 2 dives & lunch – Half board.
The journey to Ras Abu Galloum begins early to take full advantage of the cool morning air on the ride to the first dive site. After breakfast, depart for the Blue Hole, where you will meet your camels. After a brief introduction to camel riding and all the equipment, food and water will be loaded onto the camels. The trek by foot or camel to Ras Abu Galloum starts. 1 dive in the beautiful reefs of Ras Abu Galloum. Lunch will be prepared by the Bedouins and served in the traditional way, eating together and helping yourself. Before sunset, take the camels to the Blue Hole, where transportation will be waiting to bring us back to Daniela Village.

Day 4 - Dahab – Free day to relax – Bed and Breakfast.
Free day to enjoy as you like, with breakfast at the hotel.

Day 5 - Gabr El Bint – Boat Trip – 2 dives & lunch – Half board.
After breakfast, depart at 07:30 from the hotel to the jetty for the boat. Full-day boat dive safari to Gabr El Bint (2 dives). Lunch will be served onboard. Gabr El Bint is located approximately 7.5 km south of Dahab and can only be accessed by foot, camel, or boat. Gabr El Bint, in Arabic, means "The Tomb of the Girl". There are many stories about the place, but it is believed that a Bedouin girl became ill many centuries ago while traveling and was buried in this beautiful spot at the foot of the mountains. Return to the hotel. Overnight at Daniela Village.

Day 6 - Desert Safari Colored Canyon & lunch or Day Dive in Dahab – 2 dives & dinner – Half board.
Today, you have the choice between two guided dives in Dahab with dinner at the hotel, OR a full-day desert adventure, trekking by foot through the White & Narrow Canyons, Mushroom Rock, and enjoying a Bedouin lunch in the Oasis. Return around 17:00.

Day 7 - Dahab – Free day to relax – Bed and Breakfast.
Breakfast and a free day at leisure. Optional activities: sunset quad ride or horseback riding.

Day 8 - Departure
Breakfast and meet your transfer driver for transfer to the airport.
