Santo Antão: Double Dive Adventure

🌊🐠🤿 Join Haliotis for an unforgettable double dive experience in Santo Antão.

Embark on a morning dive excursion that will take you to the heart of Santo Antão's underwater wonders. Your adventure begins at our Haliotis Dive Centre located at the Oasis Porto Grande Hotel, where the blue of the pool meets the call of the ocean.

Preparation for the dive:

• Early start: Our dive day starts at 8:00 am, where you will be equipped with everything you need for your dive.

• Sea trip: A 45 minute boat trip will take you to two different dive sites, each with its own tapestry of marine life.

• Surface interval: Relax on board between dives, enjoying refreshments such as water, seasonal fruit and traditional biscuits.

• Return and relax: After surfacing, we aim to return between 14:00 and 15:00, giving you the option to rinse off, relax in the pool, or simply enjoy the post-dive afterglow.

What's included:

• Guided Experience: A dive guide will lead your underwater exploration.

• Diving essentials: We provide two 12 litre air tanks, weights, a snack and insurance.

• Additional options: Although dive equipment is not included, rental options are available along with other extras; please see our price list.

Dive Highlights:

Lava Tunnel:

• Maximum depth: 20 metres, suitable for PADI Open Water divers.

• Marine Life: An impressive lava flow creates a habitat teeming with fish, crustaceans and turtles. In the shallow waters, keep an eye out for nurse sharks sheltering in the sandy bottom and volcanic rock.

Ponta do Tubarão:

• Maximum depth: 35 metres, for PADI Advanced Open Water divers.

• Aquatic Ballet: Here, deep blue is your theatre, with large schools of surgeonfish and damselfish performing, and if luck is on your side, the graceful glide of manta rays.
