Do you want to become a diver, but have little time?
Then the PADI Scuba Diver / SSI Basic Diver course is perfect for you. This course is the first part of the Open Water (with which you would become a diver). Once you have the Scuba Diver / Basic Diver you could do only the second part (Upgrade from Scuba Diver to Open Water) and then you would have the Open Water and become a diver.
A PADI Scuba Diver / SSI Basic Diver can:
Dive under the supervision of an instructor to a depth of 12 metres.
Order scuba tank refills, rent scuba equipment and participate in scuba dives.
What does the PADI Scuba Diver / SSI Basic Diver course consist of?
This course is divided into 3 parts. On the one hand, the instructor will explain the theory part in which you will learn the basics of scuba diving such as the effects of underwater pressure on your body, safety methods, how scuba equipment works, underwater communication and the marine life you will see during your dive. The theory part, depending on the centre, can be done online.
Afterwards you will practice different skills in a pool that will help you to be comfortable underwater. Finally, you'll be ready to dive to the bottom! You'll make 2 dives to improve your skills, explore the underwater world and above all... have fun!
